Rev. Trey Comstock
Trey has been a United Methodist Pastor for over a decade serving 11 different churches across a huge spectrum from an inner city immigrant focused church, to helping start a suburban multicultural congregation, to churches in small rural towns, tiny rural towns, and cornfields in the middle of nowhere. Before becoming a pastor, he bounced around as a university researcher/missionary/grad student. Before that, he was a Special Education teacher in inner city, Washington, DC, and before that he was just a theater and worship weirdo.
Academically, Trey holds a Master of Divinity and a Master of Public Health from Emory University, a Master of Education from George Mason University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Theater and Government from the College of William and Mary. His ministry has focused on leading diverse communities to become places of welcome for all and expanding our notions of what this thing called church can be.
He and his wife Sidney have been married for over 15 years and 7 moves. They have a son, Thomas, and a daughter, Esther.
